  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and a pinch of salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, then incorporate the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually alternate mixing in the flour mixture and milk, starting and ending with the dry ingredients.
  6. Gently stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
