A delightful blend of creamy vanilla ice cream with rich brownie chunks, perfect for creating cherished family moments.

  • Total Time: 180 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 batch of brownies (homemade or boxed)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate sauce
  • Optional mix-ins: chopped nuts, cookie chunks, or peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine butter and sugar until creamy. Mix in eggs, vanilla, and melted chocolate before folding in flour and salt.
  2. Pour the brownie mixture into a greased 9×9 baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the edges form a crust but the center remains slightly soft. Allow cooling before cutting into chunks.
  3. For the ice cream base, mix heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl until sugar dissolves.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  5. Fold in brownie chunks and chocolate sauce.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container and freeze for several hours or until firm.

Notes

Let the brownies cool completely before mixing in to avoid melting the ice cream. Pair with fresh berries for added flavor.
