Delightfully creamy, melt-in-your-mouth cookies filled with chopped pecans and coated in powdered sugar, perfect for any occasion.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 24 cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar, plus extra for coating
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Slowly incorporate the flour, stirring gently until the dough comes together.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans until evenly distributed.
  6. Form small balls of dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until bottoms are lightly golden.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes; roll each cookie in powdered sugar while still warm.
  9. Cool completely, then roll again in powdered sugar for an extra snowy touch.
  10. Store in an airtight container.

Notes

Chill dough for 30 minutes before baking to help cookies maintain their shape. Use finely chopped nuts for the best texture.
