- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the orange zest and juice, mixing until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and salt, then gradually add to the wet mixture, folding gently.
- Fold in the chopped cranberries until evenly distributed.
- Portion the dough into balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about two inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool cookies on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For an extra touch, dust cooled cookies with powdered sugar. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
