Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup crushed Oreos

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your muffin tin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the eggs, buttermilk, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until combined.
  5. Fold in the crushed Oreos.
  6. Scoop the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes
