- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- 1 cup frosting (buttercream recommended)
- 2 cups green candy melts
- 20 lollipop sticks
- Sprinkles and edible decorations
Instructions
- Bake the Cake: Follow the instructions on the cake mix box and bake according to package directions. Allow it to cool.
- Crumb the Cake: Once cooled, crumble the cake into a large mixing bowl until you have fine crumbs.
- Mix in Frosting: Gradually add frosting to the cake crumbs, mixing until it holds together.
- Shape the Cake Pops: Form the mixture into small, tree-like shapes and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Chill: Refrigerate cake pops for about an hour until firm.
- Melt the Candy Coating: Melt green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
- Dip and Decorate: Dip the end of each lollipop stick into the melted candy, then insert into the cake pops. Dip each pop into the candy coating, allowing excess to drip off.
- Add Decorations: While the coating is wet, sprinkle with edible decorations.
- Let Set: Place the pops in a stand to set. Once hardened, they’re ready to enjoy!
