  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and pat dry.
  2. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and ginger. Coat the chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add sesame oil, and sauté the marinated chicken for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Pour in the leftover marinade, thickening for 2-3 minutes while adding toasted sesame seeds.
  5. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and serve over rice or noodles.

Notes

Ensure chicken is cooked but not overdone. Use meat thermometer to check for 165°F internal temperature.
