Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup light soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and pat dry.
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and ginger. Coat the chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add sesame oil, and sauté the marinated chicken for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Pour in the leftover marinade, thickening for 2-3 minutes while adding toasted sesame seeds.
- Sprinkle with chopped green onions and serve over rice or noodles.
Notes
Ensure chicken is cooked but not overdone. Use meat thermometer to check for 165°F internal temperature.
