Delightful Banana Pudding Cups that blend creamy vanilla pudding, ripe bananas, and fluffy whipped cream, evoking sweet childhood memories.

  • Total Time: 120 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 package of vanilla pudding mix or homemade pudding
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1 cup vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 2 cups whole milk (or nut milk)

Instructions

  1. If using a mix, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk in a bowl until it thickens (about 2-3 minutes). For homemade pudding, cook sugar, cornstarch, and milk in a saucepan until bubbly and thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add vanilla extract, and cool.
  2. Peel and slice the ripe bananas into 1/4-inch slices.
  3. In small cups or glasses, layer the pudding, banana slices, and whipped cream, starting with pudding at the bottom and ending with whipped cream on top. Add a layer of crushed vanilla wafers between pudding layers for crunch.
  4. Place each cup in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Before serving, garnish with additional banana slices, whipped cream, and a sprinkle of crushed vanilla wafers.

Notes

Prepare the cups a day in advance for enhanced flavors.
