Ingredients
- 1 cup milk (or milk alternative)
- 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the milk and pumpkin puree. Stir gently until well-blended and warm but not boiling.
- Add the spices and sweetener. Mix until everything is incorporated. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.
- Remove from heat. If you have a frother or whisk, now is the time to froth your concoction!
- Serve in a cozy mug, and sprinkle a dash of cinnamon on top. Optionally, you can add whipped cream for indulgence.
Notes
For a creamier texture, heat the milk slowly while stirring. Experiment with different spices for a unique flavor.
