- ½ cup powdered sugar

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the egg and vanilla extract, beating until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until incorporated.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick on a floured surface.
- Mix 2 tablespoons of softened butter, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon; spread this over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly from the long side into a log and slice into 1-inch rounds.
- Place rounds on baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes until slightly golden.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing cream cheese, powdered sugar, and a splash of milk until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cookies.
Notes
For added texture, consider folding in chopped nuts or raisins into the dough. Use parchment paper to prevent sticking.
