- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup caramel candy (cut into small pieces)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend this mixture into the wet ingredients.
- Take a tablespoon of dough and flatten it in your palm. Place a caramel piece in the center, wrap the dough around it, and roll it into a ball.
- Arrange cookie balls on a lined baking sheet, about 2 inches apart, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
Notes
Sprinkle warm cookies with sea salt for an elevated flavor.
