Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease your muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
  3. Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  4. Add melted butter, eggs, and sugar to the mashed bananas and mix until well combined.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until no flour streaks remain.
  7. If using, fold in nuts or chocolate chips.
  8. Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  9. Bake for 18-22 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
