Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef, pork, chicken, or turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 beaten egg
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- Optional: Chopped cilantro or green onions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, and sweet chili sauce. Mix gently.
- Form the mixture into meatballs about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- In a small saucepan, heat another 1/2 cup of sweet chili sauce until warm. Optionally, add soy sauce or sriracha.
- Once the meatballs are done, toss them in the warmed sauce and serve.
Notes
You can adjust the sauce for sweetness or spice. For extra crispiness, consider searing the meatballs before baking.
