A nostalgic treat combining creamy peanut butter and rich chocolate, perfect for any occasion.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 24 cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups quick oats
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Melt & Mix: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, sugar, milk, and cocoa powder. Bring to a full rolling boil and cook for exactly 1 minute.
  2. Add the Good Stuff: Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth and fully combined.
  3. Fold in Oats: Add quick oats, stirring until everything is coated in chocolatey goodness.
  4. Shape the Cookies: Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto wax or parchment paper. Let cool at room temperature until set, about 20–30 minutes.

Notes

Use quick oats for a chewy texture. Allow cookies to cool adequately for perfect setting.
